Meet Dr. Farah Turk, M.D.

Dr. Farah Turk completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, one of America's Top 25 Medical Schools. Her residency was completed at the Swedish Covenant Hospital, an affiliate of Northwestern University of Chicago, where she held the position of chief resident. Dr. Turk is Board Certified in Family Practice has over 20+ years in practice and is highly respected in her field. Furthermore, she obtained a Board Certification in Obesity Medicine in 2014 as part of her commitment to providing the best care to her patients and their families. She is on staff at Provena St. Joseph's Medical Center and Edward's Hospital. Dr. Turk specializes in weight management, women's health, and chronic disease management. Dr. Turk is an associate professor for medical students at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and at Lincoln Memorial University's DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. As an instructor, she instructs nurse practitioners and physician assistants from universities across the country. A compassionate physician with years of experience treating patients of all ages, she is highly skilled at taking care of her patients. Her greatest strength is listening to and meeting her patients' medical needs. Dr. Turk is designated by the Department of State to be a civil surgeon for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. She also holds special certifications to perform DOT physicals and suboxone treatments for opioid addiction.
